Goodbyes
...
The Partners and Staff at Sunnyside was extremely sad to say 'goodbye' to Dr Malcolm Jones at the end of September after almost 29 years as a Partner at the Practice. As well a providing excellent care for thousands of patients over the years, Dr Jones has also provided guidance and support for us all as a team as we went through several big changes over the years. He also worked extremely hard behind the scenes towards the project for the new Health Centre at St Clare for more years than you would believe and the great facilities the new building will offer us all are partly his legacy. We will miss is care and commitment in the Practice. Patients registered with Dr Jones will have received a letter from the practice informing you of your new allocated GP.

The MenACWY vaccine will provide direct protection to the vaccinated cohort and, by reducing MenW carriage, will also provide indirect protection to unvaccinated children and adults. All those patients in the eligible cohorts will be sent and invitation.

Welcome to Sunnyside Surgery, Penzance.
Sunnyside Surgery is a friendly 4 doctor Practice in the coastal town of Penzance in West Cornwall. We serve almost 6000 patients from a variety of social and ethnic backgrounds. The doctors currently practice from a converted Victorian house in a conservation area close to the seafront. The building houses five consulting rooms and two nurses rooms all of which are well equipped. In addition there are 3 waiting rooms, reception office, administration office and a Practice Manager's office. There is a WC on the ground floor with wheelchair access and a Garden Room where counselling services are held. We also hold branch surgery clinics at Sainsbury's store Penzance for your convenience.
The GPs are supported by a dedicated team who are here to treat the minor illness that occur as well as specialist management of long term conditions and chronic diseases.
