DR ADAM HILL

Dr Adam Hill joined the Surgery in February 2023 as our full time Registrar. He is being mentored by Dr Paul Sampson and is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

DR LOIS ONU

Dr Lois Onu joined the Surgery in February 2023 as our part time Registrar. She is being mentored by Dr Maria Patten and is available for appointments Monday, Tuesday and Friday.

EMMA SAGE

Registered Nurse 28/08/2006 Qualifications Nurse Independent / Supplementary Prescriber 15/08/2018 Emma joined the team in August 2021 and holds minor injuries and acute illness clinics.

JANETTE MCBLANE

Registered Nurse 25/03/1986 Janette McBlane joined the team in 2016 and is our Lead Respiratory Nurse. She carries out a range of duties which include childhood immunisations, travel health advice, cervical smears, dressings and doppler testing. Janette also holds chronic disease clinics.

CLARE BICK

Registered Nurse 01/09/2008 Qualifications Nurse Independent / Supplementary Prescriber 01/09/2021 Clare joined the team in 2019 and is our Lead Nurse for Chronic diseases with a specialist interest in diabetes management. Clare also holds minor illness clinics.

ESTHER WAY

Esther Way joined the team in 2019 as an Assistant Practitioner specialising in Dementia and frailty care and support for families. Esther is the link for our main care home Ponsandane. She also offers Free NHS Health Checks to all our patients aged 40-74 years who do not suffer from a chronic condition and annual health checks to patients with Learning Disabilities.

NATALIE PROWSE

Natalie joined the team as a receptionist in 2015 and carried out her phlebotomy training in 2021. Natalie can also carry out blood pressure checks and ECGs.

LAURA CORIN

Laura joined the team in 2022 as a phlebotomist and is currently undertaking her healthcare assistant training. Laura also takes blood pressures and ECGs

LINDA REES

Practice Manager

Lin joined the team as a receptionist in 1988 and progressed to medical secretary followed by practice administrator before becoming assistant Practice Manager in 2003. Lin became the Practice Manager in 2010.

ANGELA ROBERTS

Angela joined the team in 2003 as a receptionist and progressed to Practice Administrator. Angela is now the Deputy Manager and oversees all the Practice Finance.

SOPHIE REES

Sophie joined the team in 2022 as Management Support and QOF lead. She often deputises in the absence of Lin and Angela.

HANNAH HICKS

Hannah joined the team in 2004 as a receptionist/administrator. Hannah now manages staff rotas, the appointment system, patient online access, cervical smear programme and also deputising for the Practice Management Team.

LESLEY OUTRAM

Lesley joined the team in 2012 as a Receptionist and manages all types of patient queries on a day to day basis.

Lauren joined the team in 2021 as a Receptionist and manages all types of patient queries on a day to day basis

Jade joined the team in 2021 as a Receptionist and manages all types of patient queries on a day to day basis

ANYA SMITH

Anya joined the team in 2021 as a Receptionist and manages all types of patient queries on a day to day basis. Anya is also currently training to be a Medical Secretary.

Arianna joined the team in 2023 as a Receptionist and manages all types of patient queries on a day to day basis

EVE TREWERN

Eve joined the team in 1998 as a Receptionist and progress to the Reception Manager role. Eve's wealth of knowledge has meant her recent move into the role of Medical Secretary has been successful.

ALISON BOWEN

Alison has been part of the team since it was founded in 1987 when she joined as a receptionist. She now summarises patient records ensuring accuracy in medical records.

GEMMA ROWLAND

Gemma joined the team in 2021 as our Primary Care Network First Contact Physio and works 2 days a week. Gemma can see patients with soft tissue injuries, arthritis, neck pain, shoulder pain, back pain and muscle and ligament pain in the first instance.

ELLEN STEPHENS

Ellen joined the team in 2022 as our Primary Care Network Social Prescriber. Social Prescribing is at the forefront of the NHS long term plan to help patients find much needed support within the community and voluntary organisations. She is available on a full time basis, contact the surgery for more information.

SALLY WILD

Sally joined the team in 2022 as our Primary Care Network Pharmacy Technician. Sally carries out medication reviews and streamlines patients medications to ensure efficient prescription.
